Best Buffets in Las Vegas

1.     The Wynn: $35 dinner, $24 lunch, and $18 breakfast.   Was rated as the Best Buffet in 2009 by the Las Vegas Review Journal.  The best dishes are the large shrimp cocktails, smoked salmon, sea bass, sushi , desserts and ceviche.  The bad part is there is no crab legs, lobsters or oysters.  The ambiance is really nice for a Vegas buffet.  Overall, if  you are not a seafood fan, this is the best buffet.

2.     Bellagio: $35 dinner, $24 lunch & brunch, $16 breakfast.  My personal favorite, especially when you love seafood.   They have huge king crab legs, oysters, and lobsters.  The beef cutting station has kobe beef, prime rib, ostrich, ribs, and beef wellington.  The sushi section is so-so.  The deserts are also very good here.

3.     Le Village Buffet at Paris: $30 dinner, $27 lunch, $24 brunch includes free champagne. This is the place to go for brunch because they keep the bubblies flowing! I totally got drunk here.   Everyone always raves about the crème brulee, prime rib and custom crepe station.  Sushi sucks here and everything else is average.

4.     Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood: $25 dinner, $26 brunch includes free champagne, $14 breakfast. Really big king crab legs, good shrimp tempura. The salmon was gross and deserts were average.  Look for the $5 coupon in their room magazine.

5.     Carnival World Buffet at Rio: $24 dinner, $17 lunch, $13 breakfast. This is the largest buffet, the place looks like a shopping mall food court with a great variety of stations.  So if there are tons of different tastes, this will likely be the best option.  They have ok crab legs, a cool gelato station, a nice noodle area and lots of junk food (nachos, pizza, hotdogs, burgers, etc).

6.     Lotus of Siam – Restaurant : 953 E. Sahara Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89104. This is the best off the strip buffet. $20 a person.  The cuisine is mainly thai and Chinese food.  You will need to grab a cab out here.  The pad thai is really good, and they have great fried chicken wings that are marinated in garlic and chili.  Noodles are fresh and they have a really good sticky rice / mango dessert.

7.     Village Seafood Buffet at Rio: $40.  If you think you can eat tons of lobster tails and crab, this is the place for you. They offer sashimi, shrimp, hot and cold crab, fresh oysters, clams, mussels and buttered scallops. Sometimes this place is hit and miss, so go to the back and look at the food before committing the $40.  Sometimes you can hit up those 50% off booths on the strip for $30 passes.

8.     Cravings at Mirage: $15 brunch, $27 dinner.  They have pho and dim sum! Plus they got crab legs and okay shrimp. The prime rib was decent as well. Nothing outstanding.

9.     Bayside Buffet at Mandalay Bay: $27 dinner,  $19 lunch, $24 brunch includes unlimited champagne.  The great this is this place is roomy, the food is all just okay, nothing great here either.  They do have a nice cheese spread.   The best thing is they have an all day all you can eat pass for $35 bucks which gives you non stop access all day.

10. Sushi Mon – Restaurant – 9770 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV.  $27 dinner. This is a sushi buffet and resembles what you will find in Los Angeles, So overall, it’s a Todai type deal.

11. Buffet / City Center at Aria Hotel - $40 dinner. The specials are Beef Wellington, Bay Scallop Ceviche Shooters, Wild Boar Ribs, and Gourmet Desserts. I have not tried it out, so for those who have , post a comment!
